John grew up fishing the dirty rivers of Oklahoma until moving to Colorado where he taught High School English and guided for half a dozen years.

Since then he moved to Bozeman in 2023 where he works full time as a digital content creator at Yellow Dog Fly Fishing.

He prides himself in his ability to educate anglers and show them an unforgettable experience on the river. John loves photography, writing, and the great outdoors.
