Fins and Feathers is a fly fishing outfitter founded in 2000 as a fly shop and Bozeman Montana fly fishing guide service.
Our Bozeman fly shop quickly became the choice of local and visiting anglers, eventually growing into one of the premier retail brands in fly fishing, at the national level.
We sold the fly shop in late 2022 to our friends at Yellow Dog Fly Fishing and now focus all of our efforts on our Montana fly fishing guide service.
Sharing our passion for fly fishing in Montana has been the highlight of our professional and personal lives for almost 25 years.

We owned and operated Fins and Feathers of Bozeman fly shop for over 20 years before selling it to our friends at Yellow Dog Fly Fishing in late 2022. This transition has allowed our crew to now focus our efforts solely on our Montana fly fishing outfitter operation, enabling us to deliver an even higher level of service than ever before.

While Montana holds a special place in our hearts, our passion for fly fishing has taken us to international destinations in North and South America, Asia, and Oceania. We've pursued freshwater species from the Appalachian Brook Trout to the Golden Dorado in Bolivia, and embarked on saltwater adventures in Mexico, Belize, and destinations across the Caribbean and Central America. Extensive travels have led us fly fishing in New Zealand, Argentina, Chile, Alaska, and Kamchatka.
