Montana fly fishing outings are possible even during the winter, provided the weather is suitable.
On overcast days, mid-day Midge hatches provide excellent dry fly opportunities for experienced anglers. Novice anglers will improve their basic fly-fishing skills like casting, mending, and setting the hook while nymph fishing deep runs pools.
Discounted trip rates to the lower Madison River are available during our off-season (Nov-March). E-mail us for availability inquiries or secure a reservation online.
When you book your off-season Montana fly fishing trip 3 or more days in advance, you must secure the reservation with a deposit of $100. The balance will be collected on the day of the trip. Reservations made within 3 days of a desired trip require payment in full at the time of booking. See our complete deposit and cancellation policy here.
