Depuy's Spring Creek

Current Conditions

The weather forecast is looking a little colder this week with some rain and snow in the forecast. That being said, Montana's Depuy’s Spring Creek should still be fishing great. Nymphing has been hot and this snowy weather could make for some fantastic dry fly fishing. It can also always be worth trying some small streamers.

Set up your nymph rig with a small Perdigon followed by a Zebra Midge, Micro May, or Pheasant Tail. A Red Worm should also see some love. We are picking up most of our nymph fish in the deeper holes. If you see some heads poking out for dry flies try fishing a Griffiths Gnat, Peacock Cluster, or a Top Secret Midge in size 16-20. Because the water is slow and clear use a 5x or even 6x 9-12 foot leader.

Depuy's Spring Creek winter rates are $40 per rod
